We are looking for our next star player to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Cluj office.  Our tribe focuses on the secure delivery of workplace technology with IT infrastructure and cloud services.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Why we need you:

• Provide expertise in the secure design and implementation of IT infrastructure, workplace technology and cloud services.
• Develop and maintain automated patching solutions for Windows and Linux systems.
• Remove or mitigate known weaknesses such as unnecessary services, applications and redundant user accounts.
• Sunset or replace unsupported systems and software identified in the vulnerability programme.
• Deliver continuous improvements that ensure efficient ongoing maintenance of IT systems.
• Ensure that our security posture remains consistent across platforms and environments.
• Support security-driven system migrations, upgrades and decommissioning work.
• Take the lead on priority security incidents and remediation actions.
• Participate in security cross-training, collaboration and alignment sessions.
• Create supporting documentation, use burn-down charts and submit weekly reports on progress.
• Monitor external resources and make recommendations on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement and align to best practices.
• Participate in 3^rd line systems support duties and out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Available to travel and work extra hours if the needs of the company require it.

Skills and experience:

• 5 years' experience in an IT infrastructure engineering role.
• Strong technical competency with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems and roles.
• Experience with on-premises and Office365 email systems.
• Experience with Azure AD, Azure IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience with security agents and certificate authorities.
• Experience using Nessus for vulnerability reporting and remediation.
• A strong understanding of network security principles and practical application of hardening standards.
• Able to prioritise and work within tight time scales to meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service with great written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong multi-tasker and team player.
