As part of the Betfair Romania Development team, you will have the chance to work for one of the newest project allocated to our Center of Excellence. FanDuel Group is a collection of brands operating at the intersection of sports, gaming, tech, and entertainment. FanDuel Group is based in New York, with offices in California, New Jersey, Florida, Oregon, Scotland and Romania.

Your mission will be to give sports fans experiences they can't wait to share with their friends.

The role

We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated, driven technical professional to lead and guide our QA team. The successful candidate will be a strong leader, have exceptional technical and problem-solving skills, with a positive, results-driven attitude. Will be required to allocate and balance the team's workload, driving high standards deliverables and best practices across the QA team;

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of being a strong team player;
    • Demonstrated ability to execute with a positive, results-focused attitude;
    • Ability to bridge gaps and communicate effectively between cross-functional teams;
    • Adopts a positive, innovative and committed approach to overcoming obstacles and problem solving;
    • Works well under time and environmental pressures;
  • Experience: 3+ years (guideline only)
    • Bachelor's degree;
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills for effective dialogue with stakeholders;
    • Proven experience in guiding teams as well as hands-on experience in QA automation and/or software development.
    • Has knowledge of various patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (i.e. estimating techniques, retrospective formats, handling bugs);
    • Has knowledge and experience of Scrum methodology, best practices and tools;
    • Formal qualification in one of the following: Agile (Scrum, Kanban, LEAN), PMI, Prince2, etc. is considered a plus;
