Job Purpose:

The Manager of the Platform Product Management team will play a key role  in the Global Gaming Network (GGN) tribe.  As a Technology Leader within the Flutter International technology organization, the role involves working closely alongside peers and Senior Leaders under the Flutter International regime.  The position provides management to individuals staffing two squads within GGN, each with their own value stream.  The position will also play a key role in the delivery of projects for the GGN Platform Domain. This role will lead a team to completely own every aspect of the project to deliver the GGN Platform Domain roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and motivate a team of staff holding various position across GGN Domains
• Perform HR functions for staff including: reviews, one on one sessions and skills development with input from GGN Senior Leadership
• Primarily lead the Platform Domain, including tasks & projects based on business requirements and SDLC, development best practice and maintain suitable documentation. Provide support to the Brands domain, working closely with the Domain leader in Canada.
• Define project goals, scope and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Monitor the progress of multiple concurrent projects and make agile adjustments to ensure the successful completion of the project
• Participate in researching, producing POCs, and evaluating new methodologies and technologies that improve quality, reliability, scalability, security, and performance of GGN technology
• Any other requests coming from management

Skills and Capabilities:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a People Leadership role in a software technical organization
• Experience working with various stakeholders with the ability to effectively lead projects and coordinate between teams
• Robust relationship building, leadership skills and negotiation techniques
• Outstanding ability to effectively articulate views across all levels for all communication channels
• Critical analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong understanding of software development process in large scale e-commerce environment
• BA and/or PM certification with project management experience with software/IT projects
• Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
