The role:

We are looking for a Mobile Development Team Lead to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Cluj service office.

Why we need you:

The Mobile Development Team Lead, as part of the Stars Group, is responsible for our mobile applications that are enjoyed by millions of players all over the world. You will be report to Director of Mobile.

We want someone who has a demonstrable record of delivering highly operable and maintainable software on time, has passionately high standards for themselves and everyone around them and who will drive engineering best practices throughout, while constantly looking for ways to make the systems we own better.

You will be providing mentorship and direction of the squad's goals. You`ll be partnering with different teams across the group and reviewing all requirements from a technical implementation perspective. The entire lifecycle of the development process will be one of your responsibilities; from agreeing requirements; to shipping features; to documentation; to monitoring and providing production support.

Who are we looking for:

• You have experience leading and establishing priorities for, and handle subsequently, the day-to-day work of the Android and iOS Developers;
• You can lead multiple high priority projects and be responsible for their successful delivery;
• We are following Agile methodologies across the company and as leader of the Mobile Development squad, you`ll be running daily team stand up meetings and help the team members tackle any blockers reported along the way;
• You`ll be partnering with distributed teams to align product features and release dates, including technical teams, PM's, BSA's, Business Stakeholders and Release Managers. Our project management team will be working closely with you to ensure that the projects are completed on time and communicate any potential blockers;
• You`ll be taking a pivotal role in the training, assigning and resource management; following production, productivity and quality standards; identifying work process improvements;
• You`ll be actively involved in both hiring and team performance review processes;
•  You`ll be collaborating with different teams across the organization in order to build a positive relationship in a distributed environment.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

• As a perfect candidate, you have a keen interest in new techniques and mobile development in general;
• You can demonstrate knowledge of development best practices;
• You have in-depth knowledge of Google and Apple standards and superb communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical colleagues;
• You have relevant professional experience in iOS Development;
• You possess deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms);
• You have a good understanding of OOP design patterns and methodologies.

Skillset:

You have experience in most of the following technologies:

• At least 3 years of hands-on Android and iOS development;
• Experience working with UIKit, Core Animation, GCD, Core Data;
• Android SDK;
• Strong understanding of how to work with storyboards and constraints;
• Experience working with Git version control and Unit testing;
• Experience in performance profiling with Instruments on Xcode;
• Experience with JSON, REST and Web-Sockets;
• Ability to learn and experiment with new technologies.
