The Role

As the Business Analyst in the Flutter UK&I Technology Evolution team you will be empowered and supported by the UK&I management and your team to challenge, be creative, give honest feedback and look for improvement opportunities.

The Business Analyst role focuses on supporting the Portfolio Management function in their mission of providing clarity on business priorities by driving cross-functional alignment and removing impediments on behalf of the divisional leadership. The function acts as a catalyst to ensure the right people are taking informed, data driven decisions at the right time. They actively surface and seize opportunities to evolve and accelerate the end-to-end portfolio value delivery process.

The role reports to the Portfolio Manager in the Programmes and Portfolio team, part of UK&I Technology Evolution. You'll work closely with the Brands and the functional areas in the UK&I division across technical and non-technical functions. You will be working with product & delivery leaders across the two divisions to promote best practice, share knowledge. You'll be confident and credible with technology, product and commercial stakeholders.

This role will require travel to locations where our teams are situated, and other locations as required for specific events.

Experience & Skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, along with presentation skills; there is exposure to senior leaders across the Group, with a need to communicate complex activities in a simple manner.
• You will have the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of seniority, across different functional areas and an ability to use those relationships to get things done outside your immediate structure.
• Approachability, open-mindedness and an ability to work well with people at all levels of the business is at the heart of how we work.
• You'll need to be a strong individual contributor, skilled in matrix delivery models.
• Open to learning and acquiring new abilities; we don't want a box ticker here – we need someone who takes time to understand what they're working on and provide real value to the wider portfolio.
• An effective communicator engaging at a range of levels of detail.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Portfolio Management function with reports definition and creation for senior leadership.

This will help you develop the ability to identify what senior leadership need to know in order to make informed decisions, how you can produce that information based on available data and summarize said findings in a format tailored to their needs.

• Assist in the generation of insights related to progress against strategic objectives

This will help you apply your analytical skills and challenge you to develop a strategic mindset

• Provide operational support for organizing senior leadership forums (scheduling and preparation)

This will help you cultivate your planning skills and sharpen your attention to detail and time

management abilities

• Create and manage shared working spaces, like Sharepoint, OneDrive and Confluence

This will help you learn how to make the most of various collaboration tools

• Contribute to the creation of the team's internal marketing

materials

This will help you hone your creativity and storytelling abilities, while helping shape the way the team you are part of is viewed throughout the organization
