The Role:

Internal Communications Specialist is a new role within Betfair Romania Development's Employer Branding Team.

Reporting to the Head of Employer Branding, the Internal Communications Specialist will be responsible to design and manage an effective communication flow within the company with the purpose of keeping our employees informed, connected, and engaged.

In this role you will work closely with the Employer Branding team to accurately position and communicate our local brand to internal audiences and feed key employee insights back into the team to help optimize the overarching strategy of how we communicate as a company.

Accountabilities:

• Manages and updates our internal communication channels (Slack, intranet, email) to keep employees informed and connected to the company
• Facilitates clear, streamlined communication across the organization with the use of tools, procedures, and industry best practices (makes use of a comms masterplan, content calendar, presentation decks, how to guides etc.)
• Creates engaging content for our channels – writing news stories, announcements
• Maps out internal audiences and maintains updated the associated distribution lists across the organization to make sure employees get the right message at the right time
• Partners with business stakeholders to help them effectively communicate their strategy and priorities to employees
• Tracks all the key communication milestones and analyses audience insights to constantly optimize the comms
• Ensures alignment with the Group's internal comms strategy and is part of relevant forums

Experience & competencies required:

• Previous work experience in Marketing/Communication/Advertising or Internal Comms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Romanian and English (Advanced English Certification is a plus)
• Experience in working with content management systems, planning and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Excel, Power Point, Slack etc.)
• Expert in effectively use a range of communication platforms (social media, intranet, email, etc.)
• Experience in working with business stakeholders and senior leaders to develop key messages that support their strategy
• Experience in communicating to different audiences based on seniority levels
• Experience in handling data to generate insight and reporting
• Attention to detail
• Delivering excellence: A track record for implementing at pace and a focus on continuous improvement
