What you are going to do:

Tax exemption governance framework and process

  • Coordinates the tax exemption process;
  • Ensures that all legal requirements for applying the tax exemption are met;
  • Liaises with the HR and technical departments to determine the application of the exemption for new employees;
  • Ensures that the activity reports and internal orders are maintained in time and up-to-date;
  • Reviews monthly or as frequently as needed the applicability of the exemption and the accuracy of the information in the payroll system;
  • Responsible for the continuous monitoring of the tax exemption governance model, in order to ensure its effectiveness;
  • Assists the Finance team in determining the revenue obtained from software development activities and performs any other accounting duties related to the tax exemption.

Finance transformation & delivery assurance

  • Act as the main driver for the overall finance transformation programme, from continuous assessment of the status quo, processes and policies appraisal, stakeholder engagement and management, systems selection and build, to final implementation, go live and effectiveness review;
  • Assists the Head of Finance in creating the strategy for the continuous scaling and upgrading of our local finance tooling, systems and processes;
  • Will focus on ensuring that the internal control environment of the rapidly changing local business is fit for purpose and documented thoroughly;
  • Finance process mapping and documentation;

Coordination of Finance & Legal yearly roadmap

  • Drive the annual Cluj finance and legal roadmap, by interacting with stakeholders and non-finance team representatives, as required;
  • Define and manage the detailed plans for each of the roadmap projects from high-level planning, to business cases, budget proposals and all related communications, as needed;
  • Manage the relationship with external consultants and auditors on recurring yearly statutory project, as well as ad-hoc projects;
  • Enacts audit requirements and adheres to all Finance policies and procedures;
  • Works closely with other team members towards achieving company goals.


  • University graduate;
  • 3-4 years of relevant working experience; 
  • Previous experience in payroll accounting and the tax exemption process would be ideal;
  • Excellent knowledge of Romanian labour legislation;
