What you are going to do:

Are you a Software Engineer in Test looking to for a new role where you can shape and influence the automation test strategy?

We work as small agile squads made up of Testers, Developers and other supporting roles spanning Product, Delivery and Operations. You'll help to test industry-leading web and mobile applications, built on virtualised and cloud platforms. The squad will look after and maintain these services end to end, meaning that ownership, pride and a good understanding of the SDLC are imperative!

Not only will you have the autonomy to drive the automation test approach for your squad, but you'll also be part of a wider test community responsible for championing improvements to quality and test automation across your tribe!

Our Engineers are passionate about their team and drive improvements in their field and the quality of their team's systems. They share knowledge with others and are constantly learning and adapting their skills to push themselves and their team further.

• Build, maintain and execute test automation packs against multiple services, components and environments.
• Ensure the reliability and upkeep of the automation test suite and all test environments, and champion their use.
• Write well structured, stable, maintainable code.
• Review, refine and extend the inhouse automation framework by identifying issues or process improvements.
• Manage and maintain continuous delivery quality though CI pipelines.

How you'll do it:

• Be proficient in Java, JavaScript or Kotlin programming languages, or have a desire to learn these having already a foundation in another similar language.
• The freedom to choose how to best approach the automated testing of your squads' applications and services.
• Have a good appreciation of which features are smart to be automated.
• Proactively research new technologies and help introduce these where appropriate
