As part of the Betfair Romania Development team, you will have the chance to work for one of the newest project allocated to our Center of Excellence. FanDuel Group is a collection of brands operating at the intersection of sports, gaming, tech, and entertainment. FanDuel Group is based in New York, with offices in California, New Jersey, Florida, Oregon, Scotland and Romania.

 

The role:

We are looking for an Automation Specialist to be an instrumental part of delivering a transformational automation program across the FanDuel Group. You will work alongside teams throughout the business to implement RPA solutions to our most time consuming and sticky problems. You will use your drive and determination to support to craft and deliver the best automation solutions, using the latest innovative technology, across all departments of the FanDuel Group.

Automation is a key piece in how we improve the efficiency of our work and drive the FanDuel Group forward. This is a unique opportunity for a creative, curious candidate to join a fast moving team and shape the future of automation at FanDuel division.

 

What will you do:

  • Design, build and configure RPA solutions using UiPath software
  • Manage QA and maintenance for all RPA processes built
  • Adopt best practices and standards while building RPA processes
  • Work closely with the relevant technology and product teams on program strategy and setup
  • Distribute RPA development knowledge throughout the business; lead and coach teams in other departments in developing RPA processes that adhere to development standards and procedures
  • Play a key role in business process improvement reviews to identify opportunities where automation can drive benefits and efficiencies for the business
  • Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across the business to be well positioned to identify future opportunities for process improvement and automation solutions
  • Collaborate closely with global automation team at Flutter on emerging technologies and innovative solutions

 

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an analytical and detail-oriented technology role preferred
  • Prior work experience and familiarity with software and systems preferred
  • Attention to detail and an analytical mind 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
  • Adaptability to new systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High level of personal initiative and motivation 
  • Ability to lead and prioritize high volumes of responsibilities autonomously without delays in results
  • Understanding of business processes and passion for creative solutions to complex problems
  • Fast learner – genuinely curious about technology and driven to learn new skills
  • Ownership – owns projects and problems and is passionate about ensuring their successful and timely delivery / resolution
  • Excellent collaboration skills, is a team player - works with others across the organization to get things done 
  • Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences 
  • Experience with development/scripting skills in common languages such as VB, SQL, JAVA, C#, C++, .NET a bonus
