What you are going to do


Role Summary


The role of AP Operations Assistant is tasked with ensuring that the team provide a high quality and efficient service to Flutter business. The role is focused on timely and effective processing of a high volume of invoices, responsible for managing employee expenses and setting up suppliers in our system.

The successful candidate should have an understanding of the AP area and how that sits within the Finance environment more generally, be a team player and have a focus on detail.


Key Responsibilities


  • Invoice processing & data entry; ensuring that invoices are input accurately and efficiently.
  • Reviewing employee expenses and ensuring they're in compliance with the company Travel and Expenses Policy.
  • Investigating and resolving colleagues' queries to ensure that all employee expenses are paid within agreed terms.
  • Building and maintaining strong, positive and collaborative relationships between the organisation, ensuring that service to them is consistently of a high quality.
  • Any other associated ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Create new suppliers in collaboration with Procurement team.
  • Update existing supplier details in our system.



Must have…


  • Be Fluent in English
  • Customer focus – ability to build relationships across the Group.
  • Excellent knowledge of company procedures, policies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to manage large data sets with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Great attention to detail to execute flawlessly at speed.
  • Strong communication skills – ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the business.
  • Desire to learn.
  • Must work to agreed deadlines.
  • Be flexible to support areas of the business on different times zones from time to time.
  • Highly organised, and ability to work on own initiative.
  • A willingness to challenge and think differently.
  • Proficiency with MS office suite, especially Excel.



Nice to have…


  • Financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
  • Creative and writing skills.
